Dakota County is partnering with Farmington on a household hazardous waste drop off event – which is open to ALL Dakota County residents.

Saturday, September 9
Farmington Maintenance Facility, 19650 Municipal Drive
Items to drop off: Items that will be accepted from ALL Dakota County residents include:
paint, fluorescent bulbs, fertilizers, pesticides, rechargeable batteries, solvents, gasoline and oil. TVs and monitors have a $10 fee, but all other electronics like printers, laptops, hard drives, and vacuums will be collected for free. Also NEW this year – Paper shredding. Residents can bring in their confidential documents for free, on-site shredding.
Items not accepted: No medicine, sharps, yard, business or farm waste will be accepted.
The Public is invited to attend an informational meeting to learn more about the proposed improvements in the Draft 2035 Airlake Airport Long-Term Comprehensive Plan on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Eureka Township Town Hall, 25043 Cedar Avenue South, Farmington, MN 55024.
The Meetings will include a 6:30 PM presentation by MAC Staff as well as opportunities to ask questions and talk directly with staff. A Printed copy of the document will be available for review at the Eureka Town Hall. Copies will also be available for viewing on the MAC’s website here
The Planning Commission is hosting an Open House to present the 2040 Draft Comprehensive Plan for Eureka Township. Sherri Buss, TKDA, will facilitate the presentation and discussion of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission invites the public to ask questions and make comments on this important Township document.
