Eureka is a small rural community of 1500 residents in the southwestern corner of Dakota County, Minnesota, south of Minneapolis–St. Paul.  NOTE:  Township Officials are aware that many of our roads are suffering from severe frost boils. However, until the boiling has stopped (evidenced by the black dirt seen in many of them), there is little to be done. Grading through them is not an option, as the tires on the motor grader will make the boils deeper. The Township Road Contractors are monitoring the situation and will make repairs as soon as possible.  Until then, PLEASE USE CAUTION. Thank you for your patience.
